I have been taking pine pollen for about seven months now, along with several of your other herbs. Since that time, it has been an essential part of my recovery from a long term stressful situation (I think they call it life!). My workouts are far easier, my recovery times shorter, and my overall health is excellent. While I will be 57 in June, I am still in far better shape than most in their twenties. This, while sitting in front of a computer for much of my day! I take one teaspoon with each meal (along with Lion’s Mane, Bacopa, Nettle Root Powder, local bee pollen, and either royal jelly or plain raw honey, and horsetail. I am finishing up my last bottle of pine pollen tincture as I no longer feel it is necessary). I found the combination of the bee pollen with the pine pollen to be a very powerful force. Though many may read your claims and find them too much to believe, I think you are quite conservative with them. I consider this (as well as your other herbs which I use) to be an essential part of my diet. Thank you so much, now you only have 999 more people to dramatically impact!
It is widely viewed that although the female gradually becomes less fertile with age and eventually undergoes menopause between the ages of 45 and 55 years, the male retains his fertility well into old age and does not go through an endocrinological menopause. This point of view is in general accurate. Men at middle age do not have hot flashes and dramatic elevations of FSH and LH associated with gonadal atrophy as women do. In fact, men have been documented in the scientific literature to retain their fertility to as old an age as It is well known that the Senior Senator in the US. Congress, Senator Strom Thurman, fathered a child at age 81 years. Similarly in animals, bulls have been known to retain their fertility to as old as 19 Years of age (quite aged for cattle).(21,22) Abundant spermatozoa have been found in the testes of men undergoing orchiectomy at an extremely old age.(23,24) Thus, it is clear that men do not undergo a menopause similar to women, and men in general can be expected to retain their fertility well into advanced old age.

In terms of molecular structure, synephrine has a phenethylamine skeleton, with a phenolic hydroxy - group, an alcoholic hydroxy- group, and an N -methylated amino -group. Alternatively, synephrine might be described as a phenylethanolamine with an N -methyl and p -hydroxy substituent. The amino-group confers basic properties on the molecule, whereas the phenolic –OH group is weakly acidic: the apparent (see original article for discussion) pK a s for protonated synephrine are (phenolic H) and (ammonium H).
The low levels of vitamin C that are available through diet are inadequate to prevent many people developing arterial plaques, and over time this may result in cardiovascular disease. Post mortem examinations showed that 77% of young American soldiers killed in the Korean war (average age 22) already had well-advanced atherosclerosis (heart disease), and post mortem studies from the Vietnam war gave similar results. Heart disease is not just a disease of the elderly, although it does not usually become life threatening until later in life.
